The first step is for the student to apply for services through the 访问和住宿服务中心(CAAS). A student must complete this process before a pre-engagement meeting is scheduled with the S.E.E.D. Coordinator. The pre-engagement meeting will be held to discuss the program and to gather information on the student's needs, interests, goals, and strengths. The S.E.E.D. program partners with on-campus and community employers to allow students to complete two work experiences while in the program. The employers develop two – three goals with the student that the student will work toward during their work experience. 在工作经历的最后, 雇主将与学生一起填写一份关于他们进步的反馈表格.

S.E.E.D. program staff understand that there are various factors that could impact an employer hosing a S.E.E.D. intern. 如果雇主无法提供工作机会，则S.E.E.D. Coordinator should be notified.

Triton College or the Employer Partner may terminate their agreement by providing written notice signed by the authorized agent. In the event of termination, every effort shall be made to allow participating students to complete their work assignment.

虽然目前还没有提供正式的雇主培训，但美国联邦调查局(S.E.E.D. Coordinator is available to work with employers and their staff to answer any questions they may have about working with S.E.E.D.  participants, including training and educational resources for working with neurodivergent individuals.
